Fishing flies are often seen as tools, but in Japan Kebari are also symbols of philosophy, artistry, and connection to nature. In my studio, I reimagine this timeless tradition each month, crafting five unique Kebari designs that blend heritage with creativity.
Each set is more than functional, it's a collection of miniature works of art, available only for a short time before giving way to the next chapter. With every month’s release, a new theme emerges from the studio, offering both inspiration and beauty for your fly box, as you can see from previous months examples pictured here.
To deepen the story, every set comes with a signed, collectible art print an exclusive ink work capturing the spirit of fishing, adventure, and the natural world. A piece to frame, reflect upon, or keep alongside your flies as a reminder of the philosophy behind the craft.
For those who want to walk this journey more fully, there is the option of a year-long subscription receiving each month’s set automatically, saving money, and unlocking surprise gifts throughout the year as a thank you for your commitment to the art of Kebari.
This offering is not just about fishing. It is about carrying tradition forward, reimagined in new forms, and finding joy in the meeting place between nature, philosophy, and craft.
